Maenam – Bang Po Beach is located on the northwest corner of Koh Samui, between Nathon and Maenam. The beach is four kilometers long and faces to the north with views of Koh Phangan and .The waters are calm in this area of Koh Samui and the beach is very clean, palm trees line the edge. There are shallow coral reefs nearby which provide excellent snorkeling and not much development in this area.

HOW TO GET THERE
Facing the golden sands of tranquil Bang Po beach on the pristine north coast of Thailand’s Koh Samui, the resort is a haven of serenity conveniently located only 20 minutes by car from the airport and 10 minutes from Nathon pier with its boat connections to the mainland and nearby islands.
The charming fisherman’s village of Bophut with its trendy restaurants and boutiques is close by as well as a choice of local markets and restaurants bursting with fresh tropical fruit and seafood. If you want a change of pace, the bustling activity of Chaweng with its shops and frenetic nightlife is just 20 minutes away along the island’s main ring road.
There are regular daily flights to Samui with Bangkok Airways from Bangkok, Phuket and other cities in Thailand as well as direct international flights from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong. Thai Airways also flies to the island from Bangkok twice daily.

WHEN TO VISIT
Samui’s weather is pleasant all year round with daytime temperatures averaging 30°C. December to February is somewhat cooler and drier than the summer months that run from March to August. From September to November, short dramatic monsoon showers refresh the vegetation and replenish the island’s water supplies.
Peak season is from December to May, although there are a host of other great time to visit. For example there is Songkran in April to welcome the Thai New Year. In August, the Queen’s birthday – Thailand’s Mother’s Day – is celebrated. November is Loy Kratong day, when visitors join with the locals to set adrift illuminated offerings.
